BODYSATVA™
Trauma-Informed, Body-Centered Approach to Healing, Awareness, and Self-Retrieval
Your body has been speaking to you all along.
Through pain, tension, exhaustion, injury, stress, overwhelm, and adaptation, the body continually communicates information about your experiences, patterns, and responses to life.
Many of us have learned to ignore those signals, push through them, or view them as problems to fix.
BodySatva™ offers a different approach.
BodySatva™ is a trauma-informed, body-centered practice that combines massage, fascia-informed bodywork, nervous system awareness, intuitive observation, and guided inquiry to help you reconnect with the intelligence of your own body.
Rather than working against the body, we learn to listen.
Rather than forcing change, we cultivate relationship.
The body is not simply a collection of symptoms to manage.
It can become a pathway to healing, truth, transformation, and self-retrieval.
MY STORY
For much of my life, my body felt like a prison.
My earliest experiences with my body included seizures, migraines with blackouts, and severe gut pain that shaped my ability to feel safe, present, and free in the world. Over time, these experiences expanded into chronic physical and nervous system challenges that deeply impacted my daily life.
I was told different explanations over the years, many of which left me feeling like the problem was something I was doing or something wrong with me. This created a long period of self-blame, fear, and disconnection from my own body.
I learned to hide what I was experiencing in order to appear “normal,” and I lived with a constant underlying fear of my own body.
Everything began to shift in adulthood when I slowly began to explore a different relationship with my body — not as something to control or override, but as something to listen to.
What began as simple curiosity turned into a practice of working directly with physical sensation, tension, and patterning in the body. Without fully understanding the language for it at the time, I began engaging with fascia, meridian lines, and areas of stored tension through hands-on exploration.
During one of these early experiences, I remember asking my body what I was feeling and receiving the word “fascia.” I had to look it up. That moment marked the beginning of a very different relationship with my body — one based on curiosity, dialogue, and trust.
Over time, my body shifted from something I feared and struggled against into something I was learning to understand.
In the past several years, that relationship has deepened into a consistent lived experience of greater stability, awareness, and connection with my body in daily life.
One of the most significant moments of change was not dramatic. It was quiet.
I realized one day that I had gone through an ordinary day without managing my life around pain or constantly monitoring my body. I was simply living my life, and only later noticed that my body was no longer the center of constant negotiation.
That moment changed everything.
BodySatva™ emerged from this lived process of learning how to be in relationship with the body.
BodySatva™ Session
90-Minute Trauma-Informed Body-Centered Session | $175 | $6
Each session is a 90-minute experience combining conversation, somatic awareness, massage, and hands-on bodywork designed to support greater connection and understanding of your body.
1. Initial Check-In (30 minutes)
We begin with a grounded conversation.
For first-time clients, this includes a brief intake and history gathering. For returning clients, this is a check-in to understand what has shifted since the last session.
We explore:
what you are currently experiencing in your body
pain, tension, injury, or symptoms present
relevant life context
what you are hoping to understand or shift
This helps orient the session to what your body is communicating.
2. Body-Based Session (60 minutes)
The second part of the session is hands-on bodywork, including massage, fascia-focused techniques, nervous system support, and guided awareness of physical sensation and patterning.
The intention is not to force change in the body, but to support your system in releasing, reorganizing, and finding greater coherence through awareness and touch.
You are invited to stay present with sensation throughout the session.

WHAT PEOPLE EXPERIENCE
People often come in feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or unsure of what their body is communicating.
They may feel like they have tried many approaches without lasting change.
In sessions, we begin with what is present in the body and explore patterns of sensation, tension, and experience through both conversation and hands-on work.
As the work unfolds, people often begin to experience their body differently — not as something broken or random, but as something communicating information.
Many people leave sessions with:
greater clarity
a sense of relief
improved awareness of their body
more self-trust
and a renewed sense of hope
Hope is not something imposed in the session.
It is often what naturally emerges when people feel more connected to their own body again.
